Pull up a chair.
Strong churches aren't built in crowds — they're forged in circles. Before there's a permanent building or a grand opening, there's a table, folding chairs, and people willing to show up. That's where we are, and there's a chair waiting for you.

Deke & Samantha — the Pull Up A Chair posture
How we got here
It started with a question from a pastor who'd been walking with our family: “What do you and Samantha think about planting a church?” Between late 2025 and early 2026, Deke and his son Cash made regular drives through North Texas — Highway 82, down 377, across 380, up 75 — pulling over at ponds to pray. God made it clear: home was Pilot Point.

Gather with us
This is where hillpoint lives right now — a weekly circle, not a Sunday service. Come as you are.

Our theological & cultural foundations
Growth isn't about building a monumental building; it's about widening the circle.
Low Walls, Wide Circles
We use simple, conversational language so anyone can pull up a chair — no insider jargon that alienates unchurched neighbors.
Safe Spaces for Imperfect Stories
No performance required. We embrace real, messy lives with continuous grace. You don't need to clean up your life before you belong here.
People Are the Point
We prioritize authentic relationships over institutional programs, and keep our calendar simple so people can live missional lives.

Engaging the Community
Loving Pilot Point through active service and local relationships before we ever open a permanent venue — Bonnie & Clyde Days, Christmas on the Square, Friday-night concession stands, and cheering on the Bearcats from PPYSA to Varsity.
Local / North Texas landscape imagery — pending
For Pilot Point. For North Texas. For the world.
To point people to true hope, build deep roots, and love our city well.
The roadmap to Fall 2027
